CTP uses two distributed Print & Mail models:
- The National Print Model (NPM) in which, based on the geographic location of a client's customer, either our Print and Mail plant in AZ, CA, NY, OH and TX is used
- The Regional Print Model (RPM) in which a dedicated regional facility is used.
Either way the identical work flow model is used.
Problem: What can IRP do for me that my company can't do in-house?
CTP Solution: The advantages of outsourcing can be summed up in five words:
Quality. Customization. Speed. Cost Reduction.
Document quality - By quality we mean laser-imaged statements that are precise,
easy to read and easy to pay.
Customization - CTP offers multiple ways to customize your statements. Design them
yourself or have a CTP professional suggest one of our pre-printed formats. Color code the statements for different uses. Print special messages. We even offer intelligent insert for targeting specific customers with stuffers of particular interest to them.
Speed - Through our technology and strategic distribution, delivery is normally
48 hours or less with most statements out the door in one business day. We'll also print your scan line formatting on return envelopes for the automated delivery to your lockbox.
Cost - Using CTP Solutions can save customers an average of 25¢ per statement
mailed. For a more detailed explanation, go to Cost Analysis.
Problem: Is there a cost difference between going with CTP Solutions and
doing it in-house?
CTP Solution: Yes. There are two areas of significant savings by outsourcing your
IRP with CTP.
- Mailing Costs - Many companies make the mistake of thinking that all it takes is 37¢ postage. But large mailings can cost a company between 55¢ - 65¢ per mailing when the cost of paper, envelopes, ink,
printer maintenance and employees salaries are included. More if the mailing includes a stuffer. With CTP Solutions, that cost can be cut to 42¢ - 49¢ per mailing.
- Time Saved - The faster bills and invoices get to their destinations, the faster a company is paid. And that means more profits.
Problem: Are there set up charges?
CTP Solution: No. Simple FTP files are sent directly from the client to the nearest
Print & Mail facility. The program does not normally necessitate set up charges and integrates seamlessly with your present system, although there are charges for more complex systems
Problem: How can CTP help me with the problem of returned bills due to obsolete
addresses?
CTP Solution: CTP uses FastForward, software that is licensed by the U.S. Postal
Service for address correction and forwarding. FastForward searches all
change of address records filed with the USPS within the last six months. It costs half the USPS forwarding charges and eliminates tracking change-of-address notices.
Problem: How does CTP handle security?
CTP Solution: CTP is HIPPA compliant and ISO 9002 certified. That means complete
information privacy including no data mining and no archiving.
Problem: What kind of equipment does CTP use?
CTP Solution: CTP has the latest in print and mail equipment to handle any
requirement including cut sheet and fully automated, high-volume roll feed printing equipment. Other equipment includes Xerox high-speed laser printers, Bell & Howell and Pinnacle inserters and PTI bar code / sort machines. We have ten color presses to handle any preprint requirements.
